Ananta Sriram turns political writer!

Popular lyric writer Ananta Sriram is now a hot favourite of all political parties. Though he is a nephew of Praja Rajyam Party leader Ch Harirama Jogaiah, Sriram has been invited by all parties to write songs for their respective leaders.

His song for Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has become very popular. “Jagan, Jagan, Jagan..Jagan antene Janam” is now being widely played in Kadapa district. Sources say Sriram was paid hefty amount for this song.

Similarly, he wrote a song for Telugu Desam, eulogising N T Rama Rao and seeking his blessings to his family including Balakrishna, Harikrishna and Jr NTR in the coming elections.

And his songs for Praja Rajyam and Chiranjeevi have already become very popular. In fact, he was one of the few who knew about Chiru’s party name, slogan and flag well before they were officially announced.

Sriram says he is a commercial writer and therefore, he charged good amount for all these songs. However, he is learnt to have written songs for PRP free of cost!
