1) first of all physical connectivity check undo ledo confirm chesukovali and make sure the server is powered on and cabled properly.
You should boot into your HBA BIOS (not the server BIOS.) With a Q-Logic Adapter, you normally press CTRL-Q when prompted at boot. This is going to provide the WWN / WWPN information to the Brocade switch, which will help us manually assign storage to our server in Unisphere without the EMC Host Agent.
2) zoning
3) Launch unisphere (login to EMC Unisphere with any PC connected to the same network as your storage processors. You can either load the EMC Unisphere Server onto this PC and connect to the storage processor IP address, or you can connect directly to service processor A (SPA) or SPB with your web browser and Unisphere / Navisphere will download automatically)
4) When you are presented with the EMC Unisphere Dashboard, select the storage system you would like to manage by clicking its hyperlink. Then select the storage tab
5) Storage pools already untayi...lekapothe create chesuko....then create luns
6) Create storage group and add the luns to the storage group
7) Host register cheyali.

motham step by step procedure undi...kani external links veyakudadu ani thinking....kavali ante pm chestha

yes, u r right, luns ownership change ayye danini trespassing antamu....prathi lun ki oka default owner (SPA or SPB) unthundi...

ownership lo 2 types 1)default 2) current

if the current owner is not same as default owner we call it as trespassing.

[background=rgb(254, 254, 254)]The question at this point is, why would a LUN enter a trespass state? There is a list of reasons why this may happen, [/background]

[background=rgb(254, 254, 254)]Trespasses can happen manually, by the array. From a manual perspective, at any point you can force a trespass (move to opposite SP) from the GUI/CLI of the storage array. What’s important to get here is that even if I manually make trespassing decisions they can be overridden by the array or the hypervisor right away. So from a manual perspective, I force trespasses from the GUI/CLI. I may decide to do this to untrespass a LUN, or if I know I will be removing paths and want to force IO down a certain SP. On the more automatic side, a LUN can be trespassed by an SP for many conditions. An NDU “non-disruptive upgrade” to an array will cause LUNs to be trespassed from one SP to the other to ensure data access LUN access during the whole upgrade. After the upgrade, the LUNs may exist solely on one SP and those LUNs with current owner not equal to default owner are considered trespassed. There are many other reasons from an array perspective. .[/background]

[background=rgb(254, 254, 254)]simple ga cheppali ante, if a SP is not reachable or rebooting, LUNS ownership change avuthundi to ensure lun access[/background]
