Opt For Mba Students

Hi friends,

 

can we get OPT if we do MBA instead of masters here in usa. Does MBA falls under STEM ??

 

 

Calling MBA students in USA. For masters students we can get 27 months OPT but i want to know for MBA. 

 

Please advise!!

Can we switch to IT side after completion of MBA course ?? I mean joining consultancy and doing IT job on MBA OPT ??

MBA does qualify for opt for 1 yr, stem extension not eligible..stem degree list chusko evevi eligible oh http://www.ice.gov/doclib/sevis/pdf/stem-list.pdf, yes u can join consultancies, but then you ll only hav 1 shot at ur h1..

Royal, this is not for me, this is for my younger brother, he is currently in australia and completed masters in electrical engineering.he is planning to apply for MBA in USA from australia....
