As ‘’Ganesh Chaturdhi’’  is nearing people started discussing about famous Khairathabad Ganesh. twin Cities prides itself for the tallest Ganesha idol installed every year at Khairatabad .This year, the committee has decided to install a 60-feet Ganesh idol to mark the 60th anniversary of the installation.Above is the picture of Famous Khairathabad Ganesh which was installed just while ago.

Popular Khairathabad Ganesh this year will stand tall at 60 feet high as the Utsav Committee is celebrating 60 years of formation the committee. This year the committee have chosen 'Kailasa Vishwarupa Maha Ganapati'.Chinnaswamy Rajendran made the popular Khairathabad Ganesh this year .

For the first time, the Khairatabad Ganesh laddu will be up for sale in this year. The Khairatabad Ganesh Utsav Committee took this decision after PVVS Mallikarjun Rao, a sweet-maker from Tapeswaram in East Godavari district, made the proposal to sell a portion of the laddu.Mallikarjun has been offering the laddu free of cost for the past four years. However, last year, the laddu weighing 4,000 kg got damaged due to the rain and had to be dumped in the Hussainsagar.

Laddu will place on the left palm of the Ganesh statue on the event of Ganesh Festival on 29 August.
