Mastan Vali, the film producer and dreaded red sanders smuggler who is now under police custody, is all set to face the heat from the AP Film Chamber of Commerce. The APFCC is all set to blacklist the notorious producer for his alleged involvement in the red sanders smuggling. Mastan Vali produced the unreleased Prema Prayanam, starring Neetu Aggarwal, also facing charges in the case.

Speaking about Mastan Vali's incident, an executive member of APFCC told the media, "It's shameful to admit that he was a member in producers sector of our AP Film Chamber of Commerce and we are sad that a few people are tarnishing the image of the entire Telugu film fraternity." The senior executive further said that it is becoming increasingly difficult to track and trace the genuine applicants who approach the producer's council for membership.

Mohan Vadlapatla, the joint secretary of Telugu Film Producer's Council, said that the council will act tough on its members for any discrepancies in their conduct. Mohan also said that the council had faced numerous problems when the police questioned them about the details of producers with such criminal record.
