Full Time Interview -- Lo Behavioral Interview

Full time interview for DevOps Engineer on Wednesday. Capital one. 

 

1 hour Behavioral interview anta 

 

 

  • You will have 2 Behavioral Interviews.  Behavioral interviews are meant to assess how your previous work experience and how that will relate to specific competencies and situations you may face with Capital One.  You will be asked questions related to skills such as “Communication”, “Influence” and “Results Focus”, which are all important competencies for Capital One associates.  Each interview is 3 questions (so 6 questions total) and each question will begin with “Tell me about a time when……”

  • To prepare for your Behavioral Interviews, spend time thinking of specific examples of past work experience.  Reviewing your resume is sometimes a good way to help you remember examples.  For each example you will want to think through the details of the situation, the role you played, and the end result.  Having several examples ready for different scenarios is recommended.  It is recommended that you present your examples in the “STAR” format – provide the Situation/Task you were faced with, the Action that YOU took to address that situation/task, and the Result of that action.

Capitol one as interview ??? Technical round Ayyinda ?

I spoke to them over phone for 1 hour..last week F2F ki rammannaru...

but konchem verevalla suggessions kuda teeskundam ani asking vaa...

My Experience :

 

CA lo oka company ki interview ki poyanu man... FTE.. 145k (no benefits so didnt take)...

 

behavioral round : 

 

Q) R u team player or individual person...

 

A) I believe a Manager should be like an NFL rookie Quarterback. Passing is supposed to be his game but as it requires he should get some rushing yards too.. In the same way I believe my working style is also individual at times but mostly a team player.

 

inka em matladaledu aamey, she was impressed and inka Dallas gurinchi Houston gurinchi matladindi.. no more questions asked for that round... 

 

It all depends on how you sell yourself.. Important thing is maintain eye contact (if f2f), if phone be lound and clear... dont say ummm, aaaa, eeee.... communication skills bags a lot of opportunities than technical skills...

mee company lo nuvvu cheyadam valla improve aina edo oka topic cheppu man... or in ur project evaro okaru chesi untaru kada oka slow running process ni fast ga... tell that situation... tell u did it... tell what they did as u did... how much time it saved because of that... thats it man...
