A student on the cap-gap extension should present an updated Form I-20 that shows the extension of stay.

It depends on every State's DMV.. Konni States lo allow chestaru grace period.. konni states lo ivvaru..

Cap gap i-20 teesukoni veltey only 2 months estam annaru bcoz manam mana cap gap i-20 echaka DMV vallu SAVE ani Sevis vallaki request chestaru to check the immigration status. Vallu emo July varaki estam annaru edi H1 pending lo unapudu kani epudu H1 appeoved and original kuda undi epudu veltey malli em antaro ento malli july varkey estey mari August and septemeber ela manage cheyadam asalu artam avadam ledu.

 

malli next week lo velta with the approved h1 and i-2o with the status as h1 approved ani chuddam ema antaro

But you can ask them to check ur sevis number which will show the h1 updated number which makes ur length of stay with h1 added...mostly DMVs can access ur sevis and see ur stay....lekapothe nuvu college call chesi update ayina sevis number with stay in us pampamanu pamputharu...you can show them and ask for license..this is a process few people have done in few states...i dont know if all states agress...but its worth a try
