Aeroplane Manufacturer Airbus In Anantapur

In a major boost to the investments in the successor state of Andhra Pradesh, leading Aircraft manufacturer Airbus is going to set up its unit in Anantapur. The Aerospace giant is going to manufacture Aeroplane parts and host aircraft maintenance and services.

Apparently, Chandrababu Naidu-led government has allocated 49.18 Acres of land to Airbus at a price of Rs. 5 lakh per acre. Airbus is seeking 150 acres to facilitate expansion. With the news of arrival of Airbus is all over the place, several other Aerospace allied industries are said to be showcasing interest to set up their units in Anantapur.

Airbus SAS is an aircraft manufacturer division of Airbus Group. It is based in Blagnac, France, a suburb of Toulouse, with production and manufacturing facilities mainly in France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom. It employs around 63,000 people at sixteen sites in four countries. Anantapur of Andhra Pradesh, India is going to join the bandwagon soon providing employment opportunities to several youths.
