Create a script in /etc/init.d folder as root user
In that script execute your script by providing the full path
Make sure that this new script had execute permissions
Then update the init system to pick up this new script at startup

./ is used to run manually. init.d is startup script or master script which the system reads while stating up or going down. it reads and runs the scripts mentioned there.
