There is a little bit of confusion when u speak about the differences btw CMR and the Refresh rate. But here is what my understanding is

Refresh rate  - Rate at which the images change on the screen/sec..

refresh rate is the original name but each company has created their own name for refresh rate

this site clearly explains everything - look at the number which equals 120 hz thats very impt as ad would have lot of diff numbers
