25-year-old Sri data Namburi was working for CVS, which had a tie-up with Tata Consultancy Services.

A trip to a waterfall in Arizona in the U.S. turned tragedy for a techie from Hyderabad, Sri Datta Namburi, when he drowned after slipping into deep waters on Sunday.

“I received a phone call from his colleagues on Monday morning stating that Sri Datta died and arrangements were on to send his body to Hyderabad,” Sri data Namburi’s younger brother Yajna Namburi told The Hindu on Tuesday. The 25-year-old was working for CVS, which had a tie-up with Tata Consultancy Services.

He was living in Tempe city in Arizona and went for an outing with a group of colleagues. “We were not yet informed the exact place where the waterfall was located but they said Sri Datta accidentally slipped into deep waters,” his brother said.

The Sri Datta Namburi’s relatives living in the U.S. have gone to Arizona and were co-ordinating with the local authorities to send his body to Hyderabad.
