Monna Friday by mistake oka working existing subversion trunk lo ki oka kotta commit chesa by mistake. Do you think they will fire me, maa senior team member baaga kopam ga undi idi jarigindi ani. It's a non prod environment but the thing is that it's used by other teams as well for their pre prod etc.

Trying to think about applying for other jobs. Anyone faced this situation?

backup leva ?

Problem emayindantey I reverted the change and committed it so it became good. But ee yedhava pani chesamu enduku trace vadalatamu ani logs lo time stamp previous daniki revert chesamu so no logs exist about how this was reverted. However adi create chesinappudu I did it from the server so shell history lo undi wrong tag create chesinattu.

Ippudu senior member thinking I created the wrong tag, she deleted it lekapothey wrong version undedi SVN lo ani. Since memu logs erase chesamu, there's no proof I did the revert. Andukey manamu mistake correct chesukunnattu prove chesukoleka pothunna.

I faced the situation. I deleted all data in Prod. But we had backup....One thing I did was I didn't panic and didn't try something more stupid. Took time to think and talked to business user as if it was not a big deal and recovered the data. This is where your connections and composure helps.

Problem enti antey maa senior team member ide team lo 15 years nundi working so aameki idantha mottham front and back telusu. Plus aame koncham peddame so a little impatient when we do such errors, previously oka sari ee vishayam lo kaadu but some other incident documentation vishayamlo complain chesindi manager ki( again for trivial issues).

Manager manchode kaani he goes by what they say. Best to look for other positions anukuntunna. What say guys.

If you go by process, should not be big deal as it is non-prod and it is rectified. But if you go by people we cannot comment. There are people who takes it seriously and you know them better than us. But it is always better to prepare for the worst.
