With the viewership it makes sense for the hollywood movies.

If only more people watched legal content. Yupptv vadu 5$ ki pedithe, manavallu waiting for the tvrip on streaming sites.

viewer ship bossu ....number of viewers vs initial customer acquisition vs customer retaining cost more vuntundi regional lo compared to english..so they keep higher margins..

Earlier yupp tv rates were even more than this ...now they have reduced because of competition...

Content cost is directly proportional to viewership ...so that is no reason at all

Moreover look at netflix website or apps, vs yupp or any other ....they dont even come close. Second tv add cheyali ante extra pay cheyalanta? If only one streaming is why restrict on devices?

This is true when you are owner for the content but not true in case you are just exhibitor/promotor like Maa Tv.

Remember unlike netflix(netflix original), yupp tv doesnt own any of the content they broadcast.

Netflix has an agreement with all the production house for content. I think we cannot compare netflix to Yupp, they are totally different.

 Yupp tv pays to all Tv channels for broadcasting their content.

actually there's nothing to do with indian mentality here ..

amazon , nflx are already well established , they have billions of dollars at their disposal .... they dont mind spending hundreds of millions to acquire the titles and in turn ah titles ni market cheskuni user base penchukuntaaru..

small players like willow and yupp tv dont have that luxury , content owners ki they need to pay the money , so ah money direct ga customers daggara charge chestharu..

Yupp tv can still negotiate with local channels. And can be more creative... manaki kotta idea ante rate penchatam tappiste market expand chese idea ledu...
