man can some one explain me what katnam means..

do they transfer money to Groom bank of America account and ask him to spend money in casinos playing black jack or

is it money they send with their daughter for her pocket expenses ?

next if they are giving 120 acres of land as katnam, do they write property in groom name ? or bride name ?

 

if it is on bride name, doesn't same apply to groom , since he inherits property from his parents too.. can someone explain katnam ante enti ??
