He's not quite right about this one though.

Industrial advances are often made in the private sector, but applied sciences research is pretty hopeless in private sector. But he's right that, without the govt buying the goods or offering subsidies these 'innovative companies' produce, they die within no time. eg. SpaceX

The free market doesn't exist.

money is not a good enough motivation. Tax the buggers @90% top rate.

let them escape to mars to save their money. stop this competitive pandering to corporates that don't produce any value. except inflate the ego of mediocre assholes who work there.
