20yrs back hero was the factory worker who fcuked the villain owner. Now he's the owner and he's expected to act like one. the more dramatic, the more awesome.

people really want to behave like that with others if given the chance.  PK is just feeding those fantasies.

You are totally wrong bro. People still root for the underdog to win. If you look at most successful movies in history(financially) right from Titanic, Avatar,Star Wars to Bahubali one common thing is underdog triumphing against all odds.

in baahubali, the hero is a king, not kattappa style slave.

people watch all sorts of movies, but their.aspirations are way different from before. if the hero is a worker union leader, pretty sure the film wont work.

although I'm not sure if its because the writers now.come.from upper middle class background, and dont understand socialism, or if people dont want to see a lower caste hero.
