did anyone go to maldives for vacation from hyd for 4 days

how much would that costt approx with airfares and all....

I went 4 years back. Air fare would be approximately 12k each. Flight change at blore...

Each night, expect to pay atleast 15k  per day. If the island is far from airport, then you pay another 10k each just for air taxi. There are deals you can find...I went to a 5 star resort. All good, but got bored with food from day 3. There is taj I think, but very expensive

orange trips ani bangalore lo oka travel agent....check the rates with him. plan for 3 nights anthe...and in water bungalow only....dont compromise on that. Later you will repent if you choose any other type of room (be it a ocean front room...doesn't matter).

dont go by air india from bangalore.  spice jet flies one to male from kochi. so hyd > kochi > male.

you can go thru agents but i suggest check reviews and buy one yourself.  take full board all inclusive(food and drinks included). buy when there are coupons available on priceline or expedia. 15% off coupon will save lot of money there.

plan water activities. more than 3 days is waste of money. ocean villas are must do. if you are tight on budget then you can go for 2 days beach front villa and 1 day water villa.it will save some money.

 

tip - look for resorts which have good coral . most resorts have blue water but they dont have much sea life in the waters. few fishes here and there only. some have very lively corals. get snorkeling gear and under water cameras.

most resorts will give you indian food if you request them. definitely use that.

costs aitee....300 $ per person average for flights

transport from male to resort will be 50 dollars per head.(or more )

beach villas go for 200 dollars per day and ocean villas go from 400 to 1000. depends on resort.(this is all inclusive)

u will not have any other costs unless u do activities.
