Soak it overnite and cook next day, discard the water, it will be as good as their white counterparts

Basmathi rice has less Glycemic Index than regular white rice.

Brown version of any rice has arsenic and phytic acid( vitamin absorption inhibhitor)

it's better to eat white basmathi rice in limited quantities, to reduce GI of rice, don't eat piping hot rice, after cooking the rice cool it in the fridge

an heat it again or add coconut oil while cooking it, this will create resistant starch and reduce the GI of the rice.

There's no point in eating brown rice then, with hours of soaking it will be easily digestible and Glycemic index of the rice increase.

People don't eat brown rice for it's nutrients, they eat to reduce insulin spike which is common with white rice.

Any fat is good and adding lemon juice or vinegar also decreases the GI.

soaking in room temperature would reduce the phytic acid to low levels, some of the water soluble B vitamins are also lost, but the GUI would still be less than white rice

other best alternative for folks who like white rice, eat more curry than rice (2.5 : 1)
