Looks like gm tesla all set to launch driverless by 2020..full hit by 2022 ..if govt approves all then our cars becomes dust !! Our cars are not allowed on roads any more .....good luck.

Oh daaniki inka chala time undi... I prefer driving on my own than allowing some machine drive

2020... You will see a lot of electric cars. All major manufacturers have plans and setting up factories / battery plants etc. 

So, yes... If you can wait for electric car... Wait. 

There is a big question of affordability without government tax breaks.

Prius sales dropped after the tax breaks ran out. Tesla will face the test in few months. They sell only sedans and without breaks there are doubts about demand for ~42 to 45k compact car.
