HYDERABAD: Telangana Telugu Desam Party (TTDP), a partner of the Congress-forged People's Front on Wednesday released it elections manifesto for the Assembly elections scheduled to be held on December 7.

Talking to media after releasing party's manifesto at party headquarter N T R Bhavan here, TTDP President L Ramana said that the party manifesto was prepared after consulting all the sections of the people under the chairmanship of former minister T Devender Goud.

Stating that the manifesto was TDP's promissory note to the people, Mr Ramana said that all promises made in the manifesto would be incorporated in People's Front's Common Minimum Programme (CMP) also called People's Agenda is being prepared by under the Chairmanship of Prof Kodandaram.

Listing out manifesto promises, Mr Ramana said that Rs 10 lakh cash, house, 3 acres of land and one employment will be provided to the people of 1200 who last their lives during the separate statehood movement.

The highlights of the manifesto including are waiving off crop loans upto Rs 2 lakh for farmers and tenant farmers, Rs 10,000 crore special fund to provide MSP for agriculture produces, jobless youth would be paid a monthly allowance of Rs 3000 each, Rs 10,000 revolving fund and Rs 10 Lakhs bank loans for Self Help Groups, Rs 2000 pension for old age, widow and orphans, Rs 3,000 pension for Divyang, Rs 5 lakh financial assistance for house construction.

One lakh employment in one year, free laptops for the students of Intermediate, degree and engineering, free cycles to girl students from eighth standard and among others assured in the manifesto.

Former MP R Chandrasekhar Reddy, party general secretary B Shobha Rani and among others present.
