Dale Steyn may well be one of the fastest bowlers in cricketing history, but even he was probably caught off-guard after a simple post by him on Twitter was answered in an entirely unexpected way.

The South African player simply asked the Twitter what's up, and his question got the attention of a very particular demographic.

Adchithooku, a song from Tamil superstar Ajith's upcoming film Viswasam, happened to be releasing on the same day that Steyn posted his innocuous question, and apparently his fandom saw an opening they just couldn't resist. Eager to aprise the cricketer of their idol's doing, the idle keyboard collective that is online fandom let him immediately know what was up, ad nauseam.

They flooded the unfortunate Steyn's timeline with memes and pictures of Ajith's film and song, most of the images being identical. Apparently perfectly content with beating a dead horse, the film fanatics continued to post the same inanity for hours, just in case Steyn had missed the first imntimation, or the thousandth.
