H1B Amendment Filing

HI,

 

My Employer applied LCA with Start Date as (12/20/2018) and approved. My Employer didnot file the H1B Amendment because i didnot get the Client Letter yet. In all my documents PO, Offer Letter, Vendor Letter the start date is mentioned as 12/20/2018, so will there be any issue if my employer files  my H1B amendment after 20 days of my LCA approval?.

It is very risky to file a late Amendment, you should not report to new location unless an H1B Amendment is filed. A client letter is NOT required to file an H1B Amendment. Based on your PO USCIS will note the late filing and may result in a denial, please be careful.

Thanks for your advice. My new job location is 42 miles from my old job location. So my employer already filed LCA which is approved. So will USCIS consider the H1B Amendment filing or the LCA?.
