Anta Assamey Posted February 21, 2019 Report Share Posted February 21, 2019 TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has confirmed the Rajampet assembly ticket to MLC Batyala Changalrayudu. In a review meeting of Rajampet constituency, Naidu met the local leaders and party workers of the assembly segment. He analysed TDP's chances of winning the seat and after considering few names, MLC Batyala's name is locked. Very recently the same constituency MLA Meda Mallikarjuna Reddy shifted his loyals to YSR Congress party and also got assurance from the party regarding the ticket. To counter Meda, TDP has been looking for a strong contender. Finally it went Batyala's way. The TDP boss also pacified leaders who could not make the cut and directed them to work hard in the elections and hinted that they would be rewarded appropriately. Kadapa is a strong base for YSRCP and TDP is looking to give a tough competition to the opposition this time. So it is leaving no stone unturned and Naidu is personally finalising candidates who are popular enough and can able counter YSRCP quite hard.
