For most families, choosing a 4-year college is one of the biggest and most expensive decisions they can make. For students, the time of your life may stress out your future plans. Choose carefully.

UIUC doesn't even have a medical school. They are trying to start one. It's ranked in top 10 among engineering schools, but doesn't have a medical school. My previous University is ranked in the top 10 medical schools in the country but it is ranked in 40's among engineering schools. So, these rankings shouldn't be the basis for picking the right school.

Hypothetically, if a high school graduate buys two Tesla cars, all he has is two Tesla cars. But if he gets educated, he has enough potential to make that money. Education is a good investment.

Now the question is can you get a similar education for cheaper? Hell yeah, my school in India costs 500$ in tuition for four years (which is waived if you're in the top 10%) and some kids could still get ~100k salary in the the US after graduation. Better choice of investment.
