user789
Actor-turned-politician and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan has the habit of talking through his hat in his eagerness to attack YSR Congress party president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. Though he appears to be making intellectual statements, he often goes loses his track and makes irrelevant comments. This has been proved once again on Monday when Pawan expressed his anguish over the rape and murder of a veterinary doctor at Shamshabad on the outskirts of Hyderabad four days ago. “We are feeling insecure in our own society. We are feeling alone though we are surrounded by many people. Otherwise, how could four mad people dare rape a woman beside a busy national highway?” he asked. Pawan said as a father of two daughters, he was deeply pained seeing the cries of the victim’s mother. “I have also grown amidst sisters and I used to feel tense till they returned home from outside,” he said. So far so good, as there is nothing to disagree with Pawan. But strangely, he started blaming the Jagan government for the Shamshabad incident. “What is the use of winning 151 seats if the government cannot provide security to the self-respect and life of our sisters?” he asked. One wonders what was the link between Jagan winning 151 seats and rape-and-murder of a woman at Shamshabad. And Pawan went on to link the abuses of the YSRC leaders with the incident. “One should know how the society will become violent and people resort to crimes, if leaders indulge in abusing in vulgar language,” he lamented.
