Mehhhhh

What about equivalents of fuckface, arsehole, etc? How can one have a meaningful conversation without any of those?

In tamil we have.mayiru - which is an actual tamil word for hair from the 8th century which is no longer used in tamilnadu except in chennai as a swear word and among srilankan Tamils as a word in normal conversations. Lol

Other neutral words include othha, baadu, etc. Hehe

It's all contextual. Anything goes as long as the speaker and the person receiving it are both comfortable. And if the person addressed is uncomfortable with use of a particular word, then it must not be used. Anyway when I said swear words, I didn't mean abusive vile words but just words that can keep the banter lively.

I know this will include a lot of offensive words as acceptable, but I think they all should be and the person receiving the words should have the power to decide whether to let it pass or not.

Folks here kicked up a huge storm just because I kept using the word dumbfuck in this db. I would have respected their opinion and stopped if they had expressed similar reservations on folks who were using much more vile disgusting words on me.

Those tamil words mean absolutely nothing. Othha is literal word for fcuk in tamil. Baadu is for arsehole, no literal though.
