AryaD
My dad was diagnosed with covid 4 days ago and he is on oxygen support from the past 3 days. His oxygen saturation level was 88 when he was diagnosed .after 3 days it was 97 without oxygen support. He was off the oxygen support on 4th day and by the end of the day it fell down to 88-90 again. Feeling very tensed and keeping hope. Age 66 with diabetes. Does it take few days to recover? Please share your experiences .

Popular Post phatposts
For those that recovered I am happy for them. But that is not a means for you to be complacent. Some people take time to recover. I went through this with my dad a week ago and my friends are going through this as i write. Not every person reacts the same. Maa dad did not need any oxygen or plasma. Friend's dad needed. Edo beerkaya pees friend kaadu, I know them personally for a while. Saturation levels improve avvaka pote Doc will recommend Plasma therapy. It is very hard to find Plasma. I am not trying to scare you. I am only trying to prepare you. Start familiarizing yourself with finding a Plasma donor process. It is exhausting as . If the hospital helps you locate a donor you are lucky. If not, you need to figure that on your own or someone in your family should. I hope he recovers soon, but if he needs Plasma I want you to be armed with info and next steps. Plasma donor should be : Under 50y age No diabetes, BP Should have recovered from Covid and tested negative atleast 21 days ago Be willing to go through some blood tests and go with you to the plasma extraction center. Add your town location to that criteria and now understand why it is difficult.
