Here is the thing, Democrats thought that Biden would get a clear mandate, and people will oppose Trump as a clear reflection of the soul of this country. However, the soul of this country hasn't changed, people aren't opposing Trump in numbers they thought they would. If anything, Trump is performing better even in minorities. Finally this country is more divided than ever. God save America.

Why though?

Reminds me of TG agitation days....appati daka united andhra ki support chesi, separate state ki support chesinollani dummetti posi, ts vastundanagane overnight plate marchesinru. This is why I have trust issues with people.

@Ellen

You have trust issues because you fail to understand how things work.

We live in a ever changing dynamic world and with changing times, opinions change and with changing opinions, priorities change.

Its just that when you are not open to accept change, such trust issues happen and frankly, it’s not trust issue but you are not able to get convinced and accept the decisions of people around you.

So a person can be a racist and a misogynist at 10 am and by 11 am he supports equality, and it's still not unusual? What if thatha won? Would liberals become conservatives?

I want to say, he was able to connect with an average American better than Biden did. He spoke about issues that matter to them. A lot of people that voted for Biden, voted for him to oppose Trump, more so than wanting Biden to win. But people who voted for Trump really wanted Trump to win. Finally, the most important thing is campaigning and spread of false information helped Trump, a lot of people that voted for Trump in the Sunrise belt are gullible and are prone to believe anything that Trump said, and other false information spread on social media.

People supporting Trump citing AOC, kamala should first take a look at most of GOP. Some of the most regressive,  religious, xenophobic, voter-suppressing, anti-democratic leaders who doesn't believe in science or human rights and would absolutely do anything to stay in power are in GOP.

It's actually funny how these people are questioning twitter, google,etc . If they were in their position, they would totally rig the system without any shame.

Liberalism or Conserbatism, capitalis or socialist, or any such kind of stuff, it’s a preference and choice based on present situation or experiences..

No one is born liberal or no one will ever be conservative all through the life, different phases of life and society dictates such terminology...a dynamic and ever changing society.

1 hour is too long to decide, in democracy all it takes is 1 second to cast the vote and decide who gets another term.
