If you are an IOS dev , the new Mac M1 laptops are amazing .  Performance as good as ryzen chips at much less power

Enduku ? I know this is first gen and all together a version .. 90 days vndi return policy if it doesn’t suit my needs ichesta.. but if geek stats lo no laptop is coming par with this version

my suggestion is dont worry much about warranty.. 2 yrs aina 4 yrs aina.. em teda undad.. max padavvav..

worry about computer getting slower after a couple of years..

Possibly MAC are going to released on AMD Ryzen Chipsets also, some articles were there hopefully should be a reality soon...

The performance is just off the charts , much faster than a actively cooled intel i9 macbook while consuming 20w TDP . 

BTW It's not a first gen , apple has been developing ARM chips for so long , they have much more expirerince than any other ARM chip maker now . even the biggest apple haters are in full praise for the chip performance 

Even the sustained performance is off the charts , the main drawback is it will not be useful for a non IOS dev for now . 

Also the repairs will be extremely costly because even the ram is on the CPU die , so if anything ever goes wrong you will need to replace the whole motherboard / CPU /ram/memory . So getting a long term warranty might be good .

But overall you are right , it's a first gen . It will have its fair share of problems but worth it for iOS centric users

Nope , they are going full ARM architecture now . X86 is going to be history for mac systems

It's fine , the resolution and screen quality and much more important than size . Obviously size matters but as far as eye health is concerned it won't matter , as you can adjust the fonts / icon /viewing distance
