It's fine , the resolution and screen quality and much more important than size . Obviously size matters but as far as eye health is concerned it won't matter , as you can adjust the fonts / icon /viewing distance

I didn't feel 14 Inch to be uncomfortable its about normal i have been using Office provided Lenovo Thinkpad from long time its compact and good 15.6 Inch could be bit bigger to carry around and smaller ones than 14 Inch could be bit strain to eyes although we can adjust fonts.

Edayina avoid Intel processor laptops...

Prefer AMD Ryzen 4500/4700 processor ones.

A decent gaming laptop for $700, will run most of the games with medium settings,  RAM & Storage are expandable on this. The only downside is the display, it's not bad but its not great either.

Never used acer laptops personally, but i bought this and used this. The build quality is decent and the price/specs were good. Had to return because i found a better laptop around $900. HP Omen with Ryzen 7

What do you guys think of this one?

I don’t use it for gaming, use: browsing, ms office etc and should support taking online certification remote exams such with out any issues

somE one in the reviews suggested adding 8gb extra memory

Hey im no techi.... what kind of ram or ssd do i need to make this faster with more memory, I need specifics I will be buying on amazon. Thanks

This has 2 ram slots. 1 occupied with 4 GB, and 1 empty. I believe it can handle 32 GB, but I wouldn't waste that money with only a dual core processor. It's not a gaming machine, but a very good and competent budget machine. I added an 8 GB DDR4 2666 MHZ stick (for about $38) myself and am very happy with the results. Remember: this is not designed to be a gaming laptop but a very capable entry level/budget laptop
