If you cannot knead with hands use a food processor. Then apply a little oil on the dough and keep it in instant pot yogurt mode for 30 mins. If you cannot do that then place a wet cloth on the dough and put it in air tight container for 30 mins. Then you can make phulkas easily. Also make sure you roll the dough evenly in the edges. It takes a bit of practice.

Any layering will make it paratha. Danini paratha ani antarani teleedu anthe chala mandiki. Indian frozen parathas are lacchedar (meaning stringy) which are made with a different layering. anthe difference. Also they are usually made with maida.

breakmaker lo dough 8mins lo mux ayipotadi..   its perfect.. you wont even need cleaning ala untadi container.  hamilton breakmaker

Use warm water or warm milk with spoon of oil and kneed well keep it side for 30 min and make small balls literally round balls no cracks in balls and keep it for 15 min covering with muslin wet cloth... kneeding and round balling is very important
