Oka pseudo intellectual Swamiji nunchi meeru rice gurunchi thelusukuntunara ?

It's true that indian farmers abuse urea because it is cheap and subsidized .

Again it is not done by everyone , we use half bag of urea per season , two trucks of buffalo dung and also green manure (janumu or jeelaga ) .

We also used to grow sugarcane as a crop rotation alternative , but now modi had ** south India's sugar industry into oblivion  we stopped all sugarcane last year . 35 years nunchi maa father sugarcane grow chestunadu but everything is gone now . Almost 95% of sugar factories in south india are on the verge of closure

Rice nutrients does not depend on urea and organic is not always superior .

Half of the stuff that guy spouts is utter non sense , Thailand does not in anyway have superior rice quality at all .

It's just that Thailand has a advanced market system and lot of private participation in producing exactly the variety of rice needed by international customers .

They also have great testing / marketing .

India lo inka agriculture is fully controlled by governments, we do not have much private investments or the scale needed to do international business .

Urea is cheap and easy .  260 kg per bag

Manure costs us 800 per truck + 500 for labor + tractor costs .

Green manure takes atleast two months to grow leafs and fifteen more days to rot inside the fields and release nutrients .  Although the cost is low , time is a big constraint for farmers who take on lease .

Most of the indian farmers are small / marginal farmers who cannot afford manure simply due to cost . This is all done by design , Indian governments wants farmers to be small and weak and depend on handouts for season to season .

Sadhguru guy has no practical knowledge about agriculture in india , it's just economically infeasible to do it the right way , otherwise most of the farmers will use cow dung over urea .
