@vampire @sri_india bro question on washout sale ..

let say if I have 500 shares from 3 months and 100 of them sold for loss . Now I have 400 , later I buy 50 shares.

Selling 100 and 50 buying happened In same month. Now if I sell all 450 in loss , can I claim it as loss for tax deductions. Or since buying and selling happened in same month can’t claim loss for 450 shares ?

If I understood correctly, u can still claim the losses of 450 shares. Its only the 50 shares which would be tricky.
