karthik25
The war against Pak will be won not through military strength but through other means- primarily economy. Pak currency is falling badly since 2018.

karthik25
Most importantly- water. India is building a dam on Kabul river to stop water flowing into pak from the west. We are leaving more water in Pak than agreed in Idus water treaty. India scrapping this treaty will be endgame for Pak.
karthik25
LOANS: Pak has huge loans to pay off. They are struggling to repay even in the interests. They lost the $6Bn Reko Diq mine case. (6 billions is 3% of their GDP). They are grey listed in FATF. India working hard to get them blacklisted. This means no country will be interested to invest there.
karthik25
If CPEC is finished, China will flood Pak with cheaper goods. So, the already dying industries will be doomed.
karthik25
DEFENSE: In an effort to keep up with India's military strength, Pak spends 4+% of their GDP on defense. With Modi ramping up defense modernization, they'll have to invest more. Which means- lesser support to boost economy.

Pak is just name sake democracy. Army controls everything there. Not even Navy and AF. Just the Rawalpindi folks. But a multi-faced war hitting economy, water, internal unrest, over-population, separatist movements etc. will be impossible to handle. That is when we should target GB. From communication networks, road networks to economy, Army has the final say. The only armed force in the world which takes decisions on religious grounds rather than to safeguard the nation or duties.

Just like America has been providing security and stability for few countries like South Korea, Viet, Japan, Middle East and Nato, China also needs to have few all weather friends, Pakistan is well suited for this job, Their literacy or common sense, HDI etc will however will be at rock bottom levels for another 100 years and they need a rich friend and that is China. They will exploit Pakistan and use it as a pawn in the game against India and in return supply for cheap money and goods.
