Taste is like ... Sea fish+river fish mix laaga untadi ...little odour and lot of bones ....

Its nothing but hilsa fish ..very famous in west bengal and it swims in the reverse direction and comes to the shore of godavari river from sea.....ee fish ni vala vesi pattatam kooda very tough ... Fisherman has to go in opposite direction to the river flow ...anduke intha famous and costly ...only godavari areas lo ne dorukutundi ...inka ekkada dorakadhu 

There is a saying in godzillas  "pusthulu(mangala sutram) ammukoni aina pulasa tinali" ee season lo ani ....

Okapudu chaala bagundedi ...i done my btech near kakinada....weekly once vellevallam ...appatlo 50 inr ..meals price 

Ipudu more branches ...more money ...less taste

It's the same case with all sea food in india bro, 

Lobsters, Squids, Tiger Prawns...are caught/breeded locally but are exported.

Manam tinevi anni, alternatives.
