Summer lo  windows ki grass-ish material toh (i think we call it tadika) cover chesi danki water kottevallam challaga undadam kosam, it used to smell great and also saves electricity bill

Cooler lo tadikalu pipe to tadipevallam when cooler doesn’t work normally . I don’t know why but my father used to repair cooler every summer . I don’t know if it’s a thing or he had no money to buy new cooler . When it stopped working tadikalu windows ki katti pipe to water chesevallam.  Of course idem middle class moment kadu it may be luxury .

my mom always cooked sambar..very rarely pappu or koora..endukante monthly budget was not enough for kandipappu or oil for fry.  Also, Koora will need lot of veggie, ade amount tho you can make sambar for whole family for 2-3 days.

My dad used to daily wake early in the morning, go to temple and on the way back he used to casually visit couple of his friends..Ma Amma rojuu thidutundedi poddunna poddunna poyi aa uppar meeting lu endi ani..

Naku first lo artham ayyedi kaadu..later figured out, he used go to their house for reading news paper. Intlo eyinchukunentha budget ledu.. also sometimes free coffee also
