r2d2
Florida on Saturday reported 21,683 new cases of COVID-19 - the state's highest one-day total since the start of the pandemic - as its theme park resorts again started asking visitors to wear masks indoors. The figure breaks the record set on January 7, when 19,334 cases reported - before the availability of vaccinations became widespread. The state has become the new national epicenter for the virus, accounting for around a fifth of all new cases in the US as the highly contagious delta variant continues to spread. Florida Governor DeSantis has blamed the surge on a seasonal increase, because more Floridians are indoors because of the hot weather, and he says air conditioning circulates the virus. MRI
there are three things every major company assessed recently.. just simplifying but three things.. 1) air particulate filtration; 2) the amount of fresh air brought into the buildings; 3) frequency of air circulation (air changes per hour).. veeti meeda chaala changes chesaaru companies.. for 1, they installed new systems.. ivi home systems lo entha vuntado meerey alochinchukondi.. republicans chestundi antha pichi fookism ani democrats cheptuntey meeru vintaaru.. Updating just in case, others are interested. 1) American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Airconditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) recommended using a MERV13 or higher filters for CoViD based on the directions they got from the CDC. Home systems are not effective and if they explicitly state this, there will be chaos. So, they avoid making such statement. Many big companies even installed UV sterilization, ionization systems, and carbon filtration systems as next level protection. 2) Typically at any given time, the amount of fresh air brought into buildings is 10%; 90% is recirculated. This is for energy efficiency. Amount of fresh air brought inside is dependent on HVAC systems. Homes are particularly sensitive for energy costs, so they bring in less fresh air. Big companies flipped this percentage and because of hot summers, many companies put giant fans inside.. many may have noticed this.. 3) International Mechanical Code and ASHREA recommends the frequency of air circulation by size and other parameters of the building.. Most corporations building sizes ni batti, this is typically around 0.6-0.9 ACH (air changes per hour).. Many corporations bumped this up to 1-~5 ACH depending on type of operations and the value they place on labor.. ikkada time pass ki vastaanu.. andukaney ee topic lo involve avvanu.. intha rasaanenti! @Ryzen_renoir @Vaampire
