In theory it should, of course I am not denying that's miscarriage of justice esp when it comes to cases involving African American minorities. In fact it's also true that this case wouldn't have gained as much attention as it did now if the lady missing were to be an African American female from down South. Those are all true points, I am just referencing that in this particular case people can't expect the police to pick him up and torture him as they expect the police to do, as constitutional rights are taken seriously in this nation.
