Insta pot mutton kheema pulao :

1) bring about 1 lb mutton for 3 people or increase quantity as required .. soak rice in a sepearate bowl for 30 mins .. meanwhile …

2) saute bayleaves , cinnamon , cloves , cardomom , shah jeerah , star anise in about 5 tbsp oil and some butter ( ghee if available )

3) add onions and chillies

4) add ginger garlic paste and saute it for 2 mins

5) add ground mutton ( kheema ) and let lt cook in medium to mid high flame for 20 mins with lid closed

6) add garam masala , chilli powder , corainder , cumin powder , cashew powder , salt to it and saute for 3 min

7) let it cook for 5 mins and turn off the pan

note : you can also do this in instapot saute mode

8 ) added soaked rice to above along with corainder and mint leaves

9) turn on instant pot to rice mode and. It will cook automatically

10) let the pressure out after cooking for that non sticky texture

11) enjoy with raitha and onions on side
