Makes sense and moreover, all these movies are not produced in AP and I don't see a reason why AP should be lenient towards ticket prices for something that's not contributing to their state's gross.

do you think small technicians will survive the budget cuts?

Technicians salaries are the same irrespective of the movie. It is the salary of the so called big heroes that changes based on the hero..

Thoda kottudu, Boddu supettudu, Hero's friends ni chepa pagalakottudu etc lanti trademark scenes vunna, Telangana region nunde collections ekuvaga vastayi solely for the reason being biggest and pricey...Indulo chitram vichitram emundi ?

Raghavendra Rao Writes a Letter to YS Jagan

Veteran director K Raghavendra Rao opened up on the issue of ticket rates in Andhra Pradesh.

He openly expressed his displeasure on the government’s stand on the reduction of ticket admission rates in the cinema halls.

In a carefully worded letter, he appealed to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to think of the families dependent on the cinema industry.

He mentioned that the film industry witnesses a 20% success ratio only. The theaters and distributors survive on that 20% of hits, he stated.

Raghavendra Rao said the online ticketing system is not a panacea in controlling the seepage of revenue.

He further suggested that the government should officially increase ticket rates in the first week and get more revenue from the taxes.

He urged the CM to rethink his decision about ticket rates and do justice to the industry.

so bahubali budget antha prabhas ichharu antav...nee argument adichinattu kdhukadha , sanka naki nattundhiii...

ticke pricess are high only first 2to 3 days if movie is bad,,1 week if movie is good...after that tickets are cheap or at normal prices....so people who cont affort high prices can wait for a week and go to movie...there is no logic behind reducing the ticket prices..as it is not essential thing for people...this ticket rule is passed with only intention to control film industry business people  and make them fall at CM feet...

and you supporting it because either u dont have common sense or you support the CM

Nee bonda frustration to poyettu unnav

Movies like Bahubali are only 1% of TFI

For remaining 99% of the movies, the heroes remuneration is like 75% of the movie budget.  These so called big heroes are making 60% of their money from AP but AP is not getting anything in return. Let the heroes reduce their remuneration.
