morning 2-4 am is the worst time to drive in america ..... most of the accidents happen at this time because lot of people sleep on the wheel ..... also some late party goers returning home after drinking / partying etc......
this is the time illegal activities also happen .... like stealing etc ...
and more so if you are driving .... you also do not have any control on your sleep .... 

So avoid this time for driving anywhere ....I know lot of people while coming from vacation want to drive late night so that they can save time and money .... instead sleep in a motel and drive during the day .....
