LOL bro you are funny, the way you keep shifting goal posts. Btw, no one "invented" electricity it always existed in nature. I thought you meant the light bulb, and no Edison didn't even invent that one. There have been multiple patents filed for light bulbs even before Edison's time.

Anyway coming back to Ramanujan, a mathematician's contributions are different from how a tech entrepreneur(like Gates or Jobs)'s contributions work. Mathematics is still mostly a very theoretical discipline, and requires a lot of hypothesis, proof and imagination to come up with new solutions. A mathematician's contributions are often ahead of what can be practically achieved during the time they existed, and it's very esoteric and hard to understand the direct correlation between what they contribute and what you see in real time. It's not like testing a product multiple times to come up with something that captures popular imagination.

It's fine if you don't understand how this works, and that doesn't diminish what Ramanujan's contributed to the field of number theory and mathematics in general. The fact that you think mathematics is about what a calculator does, makes what you imply quite clearly. LOL

Baaa first get it cleared off from your mind that — Technoloy is just a by-product of Science. Steve Jobs, Bills Gates, Elon Musk and tons and tons of such people belong to Technologists Category. But Science and Scientists are the ones who understand the Universe.

Coming to your question, its impossible to explain in a few sentences what these people like Ramanujam and Einstein. They understand Science and Maths and create Laws that Technologists use.

To give an example, we have Alan Turing whose Finite State Machine theory is the basis of all modern computers you use today. Turing was one among so many great scientists.

inka cheppaalante oka janma saripodhu aa difference explain cheyyaalante.

first please understand Science and Technology are two entirely different things. Then you would appreciate people like Ramanujam

Usshuuuuuuuu usshuuuuuuuu

Ila raasthey em ardam ayiddi vayya, anna ki you have to explain in simple terms.

For example, Jobs ""invented""(yes invented is what he called it) "electricity" oops adi "iphone" kadaa(one of many self goals), gates invented windows ala. Simple ga undala answer @3$%

Arthur Schopenhauer once said that, “talent hits a target no one else can hit; Genius hits a target no one else can see.”

I think that quote fits Srinivasa Ramanujan perfectly.

1729 is known as the Ramanujan number. It is the sum of the cubes of two numbers 10 and 9. For instance, 1729 results from adding 1000 (the cube of 10) and 729 (the cube of 9). This is the smallest number that can be expressed in two different ways as it is the sum of these two cubes. Interestingly, 1729 is a natural number following 1728 and preceding 1730.

Enti idi comedy aa?
