The guy above mentioned that our kurta looks gayish ani yevadooo annaduuu anta. It might be his opinion. We don’t have to act Americanized every single day just coz we live here. There are some festivals and occasions. That can be exceptions and even those MFs should understand that it’s occasional and it’s Indian culture thing

I personally will never wear a kurta, and do judge people who wear kurtas in the US or even in India. but I understand that they are free to wear what they want. So what? Just because someone immigrated here, are they not allowed to wear their traditional dresses? Akkadiki manamokkallame traditional dresses vesukochinatlu. Maa office lo sarees, punjabis, hijabs, African people traditional dresses nunchi Scotland men wearing their traditional man skirts daaka anni choosa. Early settlers in Canada forced native Americans to loose their culture by separating children into boarding schools and teaching their customs. Look what it did to the well being of those Native Indians? Culture is an innate part of everyone’s identity. aRoju emi vesuku raaru ga. Only special days ki vesukochina edupe BTW maaralsindi nuvvu and nee thinking. Enti housewarming functions ki kooda traditional dresses vesukokoodadha in our own private space? If really US is so homogeneous there wouldn’t be so many festivals like Cinco de Mayo, Octoberfest, carnivals and other things. So it is better if you put your own feelings in check. Gaali_Gottam_Govinda
...... What is suprising is that a Mexican (Community that has most Illegal people, drug cartels and is hated by Trump white base) is telling the richest and most educated immigrant community ( Indians ) to go back to their country. Someone should remind her to take off that makeup and go to Trump rally..... Then she will know who she is.
