Brindavanam genuine Review

First things first, the filmmaker (Vamsi Paidipally) had a very clear agenda on his mind when he thought about this plot. Just like Simha, he wanted to play safe, do everything that works in a formula film and eliminate the flab. It worked for Simha but here the flab is the hero himself. Not that he is overweight, he is just a misfit. A mass hero getting into a milder role like this just doesn't register. He dances, runs, but there is no magic at all. Even an actor like Tarun or Tanish could have done this film.

To put it in a nut shell, how would you react to seeing NTR breaking a twig in this film after seeing him watch breaking huge logs of wood in his earlier stories? After trying something elevating, working in an outdated, formulaic and a dragging film where every move is predictable, there is nothing left to watch. Brindavanam is just not pseudo, it's mind numbingly dull with jokes that don't make even a person with the least sense of humour smirk.

An exquisite piece of crap, it has Kajal playing the most stressful role of remaining dumb most part of the film waiting for an opportunity to smile and Samantha? The dainty doll has thrown away a golden chance to act in a good movie, she chose to act in Brindavanam just because of NTR Jr. or is it because they gave her a role where she can dress in casuals and make one forget Jessie?

The premise is nothing new, it has you cracking up, two friends in love with the same man and his predicament? Songs..sorry. Dances..routine. Direction and dialogues..Pathetic, it's an extended TV serial with a huge star cast. The characters have only one job to do either to scream, yell and break bones or just well up their eyes with tears.
