Buy it for yourself and let him play as a Reward or when you intend...

Try nintendo anna , miru long drive ekadiki velina they can play in console , around this age better nintendo as therr are more kid friendly games like Mario,  animal farm, zelda etc kids will.like it. Ps, Xbox have more powerful expiernce games you can buy them later. Just my opinion

Start with Nintendo Switch. PS and Xbox games are generally more advanced for a 6 yr old. 
Switch lo games like Mario Kart are easy to play for small kids.
