there is nothing wrong in optimism, but it is a trap

2016 PD will have to wait for at least 10 yrs based on current system

DT might do a immigration ban for Islamic countries, so 2020 might repeat which mean 3 yrs

It's on card from some countries but it never helps EB. Only total FB ban like COVID will help EB. Many don't know how this works unfortunately. Light thessko akka.

I don't think it will be 10 years and may be 4-5 years. Trust me no body really knows what's coming. HR1535 unused GCs bills lantivi few more unnai kadha to get back around unused 240k GC's since 1992 . Edaina workout avochu asalu emi avakkapovachu kuda. so manam enni speculations lo unna things will unfold when it has to be.

first learn to look at the data and then form your assumptions

https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/data/i140_rec_by_class_country_fy2024_q1.xlsx

There are 1.4 million total approved 140's, even if one consider 50% are still in US, it would be 700K

even in highly optimistic scenario, 20K per is max india Eb2/EB3 can get

2014 2015 2016
       87,020      102,924      147,613
       79,383        94,051      134,170

Total 300K until 2016

even my 10 yrs is totally incorrect, where did you get your 4-5 yrs assumption from?

add spillover from FB or EB ROW

hardly 10K vaste too much for EB2/EB3

it is impossible to predict GC, do not base your life on this anymore

I have already crunched the numbers, That's the reason I mentioned other categories ni scrutiny cheyyadam like FB, refugee quota blah blah and also those unused GC Bill since 1992 which didn't worked out in the past and may be this time has some better chances of clearing it out and all of these can clear the backlog to some extent for sure. Max dates move aina 2015 varaku and early 2016 varaku move ayye chances unnai tarvata years chala kastam.. As I mentioned manam enni predictions eskunna, no body knows what's coming.

How does this help reduce backlog. 2017 infamous ban on 7 countries is related to all visas. Thy take up a fraction of EB visas if any and too consular processing. Those in US from 7 countries would more than likely do COS from within the country and still charge to those countries.
