  • Nowadays.....even if you are poor. Middle class is the only one that gets squeezed in India. US is a terrible place if you are poor.

Bottom  level threshold to call yourself rich in India is having upwards of 50 crore property and cash flow of about 10 lakhs per month in your household. Then police listen to you, courts listen to you, you can flex power.

Even those that are worth 10 million or more wouldn't receive the same treatment in the US. Middle class Indians prefer the US system better, because it doesn't choke them as much. The tax rates are better, work environment is better. But most desis rank in the bottom of the barrel wrt social pecking order. Those that work on a visa are bonded labour with cuffs attached to their freedom while being a dispensable cog in the "hire to fire" schema of tech farms.

Poor are free in India. They are not worth much for the system in India individually, but collectively benefit from the system yet  they seldom have means to choose living in India or elsewhere. Not much choice for them.

Bharat…

Fake 🚨

Being rich in India is not easy. I know atleast 4 families that are ultra rich in India. They constantly get threats. Mostly for extortion. Some of them are genuine and most of them are fake. You need influence. Being rich is not enough in India.
