Interest payments 100K

Listed for sale 830K

Expected sale price 750K-780K

 

Total loss more than 300K

Minimum 100K loss every year, not including money spent on customization, solar etc

rents are around 3-4k, so you can deduct 100K for 3years, because he/she has to live somewhere.

Expected sale price you reduced 50k.. which we don't know yet..

50k is very optimistic. Builder offering good incentives brand new homes. Old homes not selling.

much worse investment compared to actual Bay Area investments prices increase 300k same time period. Almost 500k loss because wrong location

Also, selling cost is not avoidable, even if the house appreciates by 100k..

You cannot avoid that also.

Why would you sell if purchased in good location in the first place. You buy in bad location, sell it because of rto. Then go purchase in another place. So this selling cost is also bokka.

if it’s good location then you are right 

with back to office commute its not easy to sell even at 750

Tracy lo naa friend bought two homes. Typical husband wife in FAANG live in Fremont, extra money emi cheyalo telika two houses invest chesaru.

Lot of their friends bought additional houses in tracy ani chepparu all for rental or investment property.
