I like how Nolan approached this concept in Interstellar. Cooper conveys the message via gravity and only goes back to the part of past which he hasn’t experienced it to change it. And he doesn’t peek into future at all in 3D tesseract. He made it look like one single timeline via this one scene. So nothing is altered and past , present and future are preserved. 1 Quote
