When buy and when sell Anna?

I sell puts on svix when there is a good window. I hold svix to cover my puts.

Nenu aithe just news enti for swing and based on that I want to try only 1% or 2% gains and get out. No signals or indicators.

That’s what I do with QQQ, put a limit buy order to hit (for a 0.5 or 1% less, market rate ) and once it hit , I will immediately place a sell order for 1% gain. Robinhood is good as it allows 24*7 market. If it fall further my buy price range, I patiently wait until my sell order hits,  irrespective how long it takes. It’s been 2 weeks, I have not had any sell order it but will wait until then.

I have big losses Anna > 60k. I have 50k liquid cash. Want to use it to recover my losses in this market downtrend.

Ne recommendation Cheppu anna.

losses ni trading tho cover cheddam anukunna vaallu evvaru batiki batta kattaledu bhayya.

Sorry for the losses. you have 60k losses and 50k cash. you may be trying tp preserve the 50k and "leverage" that to "make" money to slowly recover the 60k.

This is a classic case for someone who made losses. Asalu losses enduku vachayo koorchuni proper gaa alochinchu. Where did you took the wrong steps etc. Nothing wrong in doing wrong but not realzining is the worst part.

Irrespective of your losses - 50k day trading to hopefully make 1-2k every day is not at all my thing, and borderline I hate that approach.

Did all this trading nonsense. Burnt hands in the end. It taught me valuable lessons.

Day trading is big people's game. Only insitutional traders can handle it. Even then they fail at times due to uncertainity in the market.

As a retail traders we dont know a lot of inside information. We make dumb guesses based on media information.

Anyways, Its better to be a investor rather than a trader. That too a long term investor. That's the lesson I have learnt.

How is your vix svix trading going one bro?

Holding a good amount of svix. Need to find a time to sell puts on it. Now is not a good time since volatility increased. But my strategy worked when the market was not volatile all of last year.
